All the Women in SF&F Month guest posts have now gone up. There’s still a couple of posts I want to write related to this before this is officially over, but this will be the last week in review post. For now, here’s what happened last week in case you missed any of the guest posts.
Week In Review
Here’s last week’s guests:
- Kenda from Lurv a la Mode shared how Seanan McGuire’s October Daye series made her more willing to give books about fae a try.
- A. M. Dellamonica, author of Indigo Springs and Blue Magic, discussed women and the law in her fantasy novels.
- Ana and Thea from The Book Smugglers talked about agency in fiction and gave some recommendations for books containing female characters with agency. (There are some great books here, including some of my own favorites!)
- Catherine Asaro, author of the Saga of the Skolian Empire series, wrote about science fiction as inspiration for careers in math and science inĀ “Science Fiction for Our Daughters.”
